I'm struggling with "Christmas Spirit" this year. It's the third Christmas in a row I've been unemployed and unable to really Christmas shop. At least I did put a tree up - a little three-footer sitting up on top of a four-foot bookcase. So "out of the way" that nobody even notices it's there. I'm not sure what they thought I was doing perched on a chair next to the bookcase covered in strings of lights...
Years ago when I was married and Gary worked for DEC, I used to make zillions of decorated Christmas cookies for him to bring to his yearly party. It became a tradition, those gorgeous cookies. I tried to make some today but they just look like blobs. Even the ones that Daphne, Jada, Maddie and Justin made last year came out better!
